January may be a little cold and gloomy personally I love it, not only is it the month I chose to marry my beloved.
It’s also a wonderfully exciting and creative time particularly if you’re planning a wedding.

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes and more than ever in 2016 anything goes. We thought we would share our favourite top five flower trends.

Rose gold and copper themes have been bubbling under the surface for a while, however it will be in the spotlight it deserves this year. The great thing about this trend is that it’s so versatile and works wonderfully with an edgy vibrant look or something more romantic with white or the Pantone colours of the year which are Rose quartz and Aquamarine.

Hanging florals are set to be a trend that continues this year. There are many options to consider from hanging balls of flowers or textured foliages, flower curtains, sculptured tall trees with different sizes of hanging flowers, perhaps balls of Hydrangea with glass spheres and candles. Floral chandeliers also make a fantastic option.

Foliage Hanging Ball

Flower Crowns have been bang on trend for a while which I love, but here at Flower30 floral fascinators are becoming big news for brides, bridesmaids and in particular the mothers of the bride using great textured flowers, foliage twigs, feathers and fabrics using fresh flowers enabling us to make wonderful sculptures to wear.
We are also planning too launch a range of artificial headdresses so watch this space.

Trailing bouquets are a real hit for this year with our style savvy brides; the shower bouquet of 2016 is as long and trailing as you dare with an abundance of foliages and bold blooms. Think back to the old black and white photographs you see when flicking through family albums from the 1930’s.

Tropical and structured blooms such as statuesque Strelitzia, Protea and Palms are proving hugely popular in 2016 together with a palette of fabulous bold hot colours of oranges, magenta and lime greens.
