Chaucer Barn is a fabulous venue hidden away in the heart of North Norfolk just fifteen minutes from our workshop.

Flower30 also happens to be one of their trusted suppliers this means we often get to create floral gorgeousness in any one of the amazing ceremony and reception areas.

I could wax lyrical about this place all day it is truly fabulous and changes with each season which I love.

Earlier in the year on a beautiful spring weekend we were invited to showcase our flowers at the Chaucer Barn open weekend.

We were given the main lounge to decorate, I love the bright rich colours in this room in particular the hot pink and orange sofas which became the inspiration for the florals.

Anglia Elite provided lovely rustic tables and chairs with simple tableware which were perfect with the two floral looks we created using the same colour pallet.

Candlelight plays a part in setting the mood for the table scapes.

One using a bed of moss with a collection of glass bottles and vases filled with spring flowers and nightlights.

The other showcasing tall displays of flowers and foliage including roses, parrot tulips , Ranunculus with a low vase in the centre with chunky candles each.

If you have a fire place at your venue use it as a great focal point decorated with simple vases or elaborate displays.

The games room at Chaucer barn has fantastic iron curtain rails on which handing foliage and flowers look great and bang on trend right now.

We also had a delicious cake creation from Buns of Fun in this room set up showcasing Emma’s wild ,alternative ,design led style I can also vouch for them being supper yummy.

Talking of design our talented illustrator pals Frog and Pencil were there showing couples the bespoke stationary they provide from save the dates & invitations to personalised cards to ask your bridesmaids to be part of your bride tribe.
