So this weekend the clocks went back (extra hour in bed?) the days are getting rather chilly.

Bonfire night is at the weekend (we always go to a fantastic local village display I’ve been going since I was a child now I get to take my own children.)

For us this signals the beginning of Christmas and the countdown & excitement can really begin.

Rewind a few months at the height of summer sitting in the dining room of my friend and super talented upholster Lydia of Berrys upholstery

We decided that a little Christmas photoshoot was in order.

A couple of weeks later we had a great team ready to join in the festivities.

We decided to create two looks using the same back drop one very traditionally Christmas and second slightly more alternative using fruit and vegetables with herbs you would more likely see as part of your Christmas lunch.

Georgia Rachael photography I met at a wedding earlier in the summer her relaxed style seemed perfect.

Gorgeous and talented cake queen Emma Buns of Fun created a couple of festive show stoppers which we dressed with elegant foliages.

Would love to hear which is your favourite look.
